2009 is upon us...

I have a feeling that even though the economy and things just suck right now that this year will be a good one! I have been thinking alot of what I want and what do I resolute for 2009.
Lately I have been the subject. My whole life has taken such twists and turns that I never in a million years thought would happen. If you had of told me 20 years ago that I was gonna be a mom to 3 I would have laughed your face off! I was never one to really want children and when I found myself pregnant with Brandon at 25 I was quite shocked.... what a huge change... I had Jack at 32 and now that Brandon is starting teendom I really am thinking....
Where did I go?
I read this really wikked beauty blog by a girl named DoeDeere and she actually reminds me alot of Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the city.... Her site is DoeDeere and do check it out... She is smart and witty and has this awesomeness about her that keeps you reading! She is just fantastic with a makeup brush in her hand and I am always so intrigued by her ideas and shoots.... I mention her because at one point in life she was what I aspired to be.....
I was always a beauty and fashion freak and I can still remember sneaking into my mom's makeup and playing for hours with different looks and types of makeup at a very early age... That carried on through my teens and twenties but after the babes I just left it alone....
So I think my resolution this year is going to be to concentrate more on bringing my old self back and feeling good about me.... I cant even remember the last time I went shopping for myself ...just sitting and playing with makeup... going out with friends for a few cocktails... Now its kids clothes, washing my face and make sure I remember to actually brush my hair ( on a side not, I want to wear it down too more this year...always in the dreaded ponytail) and I sit at home night after night living my dreams through Carrie Bradshaw....LOL
I dont want anyone to think I am not happy and fulfilled cause damn I love my family and life but I just miss the little parts of me that meant so much when I was free....
Soooo what are your thoughts for the coming year....

The store has such fantastic designers and recently Angie Kovacs took over as owner and some may remember her from Digital Candy ... well she is doing a fantastic job over there and has rehauled soo much ! The challenge forum is one of my personal favorites and if ya like a chance to grab some excellent products doing these awesome challenges is a great way to do it!
Soooo that is about all my news.... We did get an offer on the house finally buts its a conditional one and we have to wait and see if they sell theirs first! Fingers, toes and whatever else I can do are crossed for luck! hehehe

Howdy everyone!
I hope that you are all getting excited and geared for the holidays. We have been pretty busy here with tons of stuff other than Christmas and as usual will be pulling it all together at the last darn minute! Every year I have the best of intentions to get everything ready and rolling way before hand but somehow my plans NEVER work out!
Watched the finale of Survivor last nite and have to say I was glad that Bob won but was really disappointed Sugar didn't ... I thought she was a great player and she made it right to the end...Its funny cause the final three were the least favored and totally the underdogs coming into this season...

LMAO...What a title! Soo Yes I do have lots to tell you .... hmmm but where to start? Well the house is still on the block! No buyers yet! We are looking forward to this weekend as we have some people coming for a 2nd look! That is the most interest so far..hehe I think it sucks cause the market is horrible and has almost just dropped flat. We shall see though!

Itwas such an awesome surprise! It was for the Grand Reopening of ES and the celebration of the new owner Angie Kovacs... Who I just adore and love! Its great cause its some of the best ones from Digital Candy's old days! So I am very happy and excited to be a winner, I have been participating in alot of challenges in the forum and its really great fun! You should check it out!
Another great forum is the Color Line Design Forum. I haave been doing the challenges there as well... so that brings me to some news.... I applied this morning to the CT Call at Elemental Scraps. I figured what is the worst that can happen? I could be told no thank you or I could get a spot...
